Just inquired with the dealership, they pegged me at #69 allocation (out of 60)

Status #10, which is as hard as you can get!

Was 159 out of 148 but dealer told me recently 16 people are waiting for '22 model, and "several" have not responded to his emails, keeping my fingers crossed. Noon 7/14 reservation.

I reserved on 8/7. Glad to see someone else with a later res date, I was starting to think I was the only one...cheers🥂

I waited at first for the dust to settle at first, had a feeling all the traffic would cause problems. :ROFLMAO: Then talked to a my local dealer to make sure he wouldn't play any games with me so I didn't have to go through the whole dealer change debacle. Money is in the bank, just waiting for the call.

A dealer's allocation in some part is a ratio of their converted orders... so if more people transfer to a dealer and convert, that dealer's allocations increase.

How exactly they increase (what the specific formula is) we don't know.

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Maybe.

Longer answer: See my response above. Ford can make X number of broncos, so in general if you take all the reservation holders up until X... they will generally speaking, get their Bronco irrespective of what dealer they are with. If an earlier reservation holder transfers in, they are ostensibly bringing allocation with them... You get pushed to #53, but your dealer's allocation may also increase to 55.

Longest answer: We don't actually know specifically what the allocation formula is, or what your particular dealer's metrics are... so those transfers in will bring increased allocation, but they may only bring in 0.4 more allocation (for example), so in that situation, yes, you'd get pushed out of a 2021.

The take away is: If you're on the cusp of the MY21/22 cutoff... generally speaking you're going to be on that cusp no matter what... and you should emotionally prepare yourself for all possibilities.
Excellent answer, thanks.

300+ reservations, 100 allocations. I am 280. LOL I will be waiting a while...
I'm in the same boat, got an email from the dealership last week, I've just been trying to figure out which level to go for. I responded to their email and heard back from the General Sales Manager who was a total d0uche. Told me I was #218 overall, what exactly does that mean anyway. Basically I'm looking at getting a 2022 model the end of this year or first quarter of next. He was so matter of fact about it too.
I also asked him if they are honoring Xplan or offering any discounts. He said they will sell at MSRP or above depending on the market. I was so put off by him I'm going to check out another dealer. Have to find out how my "number" works if I do.
So you are in good company!
