Iā€™m going to finish out the duck season it ends this weekend. Then we start conservation goose season. Then Iā€™ll go fishing. Then spring turkey season opens. Then we will fish some more. Then maybe Iā€™ll get a Bronco and drive out west and go fly fishing backpacking and camping. Enjoy Godā€˜s great outdoors and eat really well

Oh, I guess roller derby will come back to us at some point. Play co-ed and men's. We lost pretty much the entirety of last season to COVID. It eats up a ton of time with practice and bouts. I may have a few years left before I'm too old to hang with these 20-somethings.

Thinking of building a 7.62x39 10.5 inch barrel AR. Other than that, flogging my 470 whp GTI.
Word of caution: Don't. All of the magazines for it suck, because the AR mag well is not designed for a tapered cartridge like the 7.62x39 and you will always have fun feeding issues. Put that cartridge in a Kalashnikov like Kalashnikov intended.

Oh, oh do a 6.5mm Grendel. I'm really curious about that round. probably not a short barrel though. lol
Long barrel = yes. It's a decent pew pew; optics, etc. can make a lot of rounds that good. 6.5 Creedmore is nice and flat.

Motorcycles.

I bought my grandson a dirt bike for Christmas and we've been working on basic skills. Hopefully this summer will be fun. I'm also "borrowing" one of my bikes from my son and will have it this spring. Going to do a little customizing before my son gets it back.

As usual I'll continue finding, and restoring used bikes to give to kids in the neighborhood that for whatever reason don't have one. The problem right now is bicycle companies aren't producing many new bikes, and that cuts into the used bike market as folks don't get rid of their older bikes. But, thanks to friends, and neighbors I still get a few. In the interim I mess around with classic bikes for myself like this 1961 J.C. Higgins Flightliner. Of course these are getting much harder to find.

1) Pray my car doesnā€™t start hemorrhaging money any more then it has.
2) Continue to pinch my pennies as best I can.
3) Maybe pick up a small utility trailer to upfit for camping.

More time on the track this year. Currently adding a few more horsepower via Vortech V-3 & headers.

Enjoying the drive in the 1970 until I can put it away for car shows and cruises when the new DD hits the dealership.

This seems like a great post to reply to!

Funny enough I ALMOST didn't buy my Isuzu Vehicross back in 2004 because I thought for SURE Ford was going to make that Bronco prototype into reality.... nope!

But what I will focus on as a hobby will be to keep my 1989 Ford Bronco Going. I bought it in January 1999 .... lots of work it seems to keep her going these last 22 years but worth it!

Excited about the new Bronco for sure!

Well Iā€™ve got plenty of distractions since Iā€™m in the process of pulling up very deep roots in Michigan to move to the big Island of Hawaii. Where everybody else is overthinking options and delays Iā€™ve been like, The simplest thing I do in the next 12 months Will be to take delivery of my new Ford Bronco. Just donā€™t let it fall into the Pacific Ocean during itā€™s 2400 mile boat ride ?

Since a lot of us are realizing we won't be driving a new Bronco for at least a year from now what are you planning to distract yourself with? I'm thinnking I might get into RC trucks for a while. They've really come a long way since I played with them in the 80/90s.
I've got a 2WD Traxxas Stampede with a few upgrades. It's a lot of fun.
