Curious what everyone is choosing for balancing, especially if going with 37s, 38s or 39s. Heard arguments for traditional wheel weights as well as ceramic balancing beads.

It was amazing how off my 37" K02s were when 1st mounting. The number of weights were silly... Fortunately, I had a good tire guy and rotated the tire on the rim until we had a better balance and fewer weights.

All depends on the tire. Some are good without and some need. I have beads in my 38 milestars and have a slight wobble

I've used many times in the past on Older Bronco's with Super Swamper's. But with having tpms sensors those beads really can mess one up. I tried them on my 17 Ram with 38's, tpms sensors were like sand blasted looking at them when I had to patch a tire flat. I usually stick with stick on wts. And as mentioned earlier, rotating the tire on the rim until they are matched is ideal for minimal wts.

I like the ceramic beads for balancing, especially in my motorcycle tires. I would, however, not use them on a wheel equipped with TPMS. Seems like a bad idea, though I have no personal experience.
