When will Ford reveal the 2022MY Changes? New Colors / Trims?

My guess how it’ll play out..

1 email between now and Q4 2021 that says MY22 info will be released by a (“firm Ford” ) date. Let’s say it’s some date in September. The email will also say B&P will be updated by a specific date following the MY22 info release. Let’s say beginning of October.

But then actual reality will be MY22 info be released in December, one week prior to switching over from MY21 to 22. The B&P updates will go into effect throughout a 6 month timeframe with the initial (very minor) B&P updates showing up sometime around February.




Jokes aside, I think Ford it still trying to determine what they’re going to do differently with MY22. I don’t think they know.

Pretty sure other than "we promise some sort of Green" the only change for 2022 is "you get to pay more".

My dealer told me a week or two ago that 22MY options will open up for order on September 13th.

I actually called and talked to my dealer, as there's a few options I'm maybe considering that could show up that might be compelling to get. According to them, Ford is going to be doing an exploratory with a few dealers in different markets to figure out which features they want to add for the 2022 model year. He said they're planning on having this completed by some time early 2022, so I'd expect the B&P and options list to come out some time after that.






Also, that was 100% bullshit. :-D

My bet: Reveal will be Woodward Dream Cruise or NYIAS or both since they are across the same start dates. B&P will be promised earlier, but won’t be until November or something, so we will have to order using the draft dealer order guide on Sep 13.

I'll bet anyone $100 that there are exactly ZERO changes. They already scratched the painted top, so there goes along with it the "Heritage" edition. That Green color was likely tied to that, so there goes that one as well. Sas is a restraint every month, so they might keep the mansquatch off the 22 books so they can play catch up. My gut feeling is that they make no changes until they clear the backlog. Sorry for the FUD.

Its sad 99% of us don't even have a 2021and people are asking about 2022 changes.

Sad, but it makes perfect sense. People are asking precisely because most preorders won't be 21s and they're going to have to be resubmitted.

I placed my res in the first 9 hours and I think it's basically a coin toss what year I'm getting.
