Why does my soft top look so lumpy, saggy, loose, bad?

Every so often, when I drop by my dealership for maintenance, I see a new Softtop Bronco or two with their taught, smooth lovely tops.
then I look at mine and wonder why it looks so lumpy, saggy, loose and sad…
Is it just the “ the grass is always greener…” effect?
Am I just ogling the hot young soft, that will, with age, develop its own wrinkles and bumps?
For the record, I don’t open my top all the way back often, and have never fully removed it.
It has never looked as clean and tight as the ones I see on the new ones at the dealership.

I think Ford updated the soft top for 23. There have been a couple photos of a very straight soft top windows, (no wrinkles). Also, the fabric is pretty tight when it's new. I had a hell of a time latching the front the first time I folded mine back all the way.
I'm sure it relaxes with use and age.
Mine is a tad saggy, but, it's a fabric tent that moves around on top of a vehicle. I dont expect them to look as seamless as a unibody.

The new soft tops have a seam on the top corners that go down each side... that makes a difference in my opinion.

I’ve thought mine is a bit saggy too (2022). I’m also curious if anyone has a way to tighten it up! I’m also curious what they expected life span is with expected use. Like you said, is the sag just part of its aging process.

yeah that roof hasn't won any awards but it works..bet it looks awesome with the top down...

BTW, that's how smooth the new OEM top looks up top, that I've seen

Mine is out in the sun with high humidity 8 months out of the year in SW FL but doesn’t look like the OPs. The dealership just had to replace the tension cable on the driver side due to it being loose.

How do the soft tops sound at highway speeds?

I don't have an issue with mine, but it is definitely louder than a hard top or a non-convertible vehicle. I can have a conversation over my phone via Bluetooth, but I need to speak a bit louder (I don't need to scream or anything).
