My wife just tells me to shut the hell up about the Bronco. She's never seen me work so hard for something in my life. I took up building handmade, farmhouse coffee tables to sell for $300 a pop to build a down-payment. I'm also paying about $800 extra per month on my truck to pay it off by June which amounts to about $1200 per month. She literally thinks I've gone insane over this Bronco.

Mine has already planned all the trips, bought the motorcycle trailer and is looking for the camper. She asks me daily as I read bronco6g.com if I am doing "Bronco Porn" again.

Yesterday was Motor Monday. That's when I dump all my built up knowledge from the week on her. She knew she was marrying a gearhead just not to this level or dorkiness. lol

Hey good for you for:
A) having a viable plan
B) working toward that plan
C)Knowing in a realistic, everyday-guy situation that to get in this thing right we are going to have to pony up some cash on the front end to avoid a $800/month payment.

I think a lot of people don't have a realistic perspective of how much this is really going to cost.
Both in monthly payment and the final bottom line after all of the fees and taxes are added, plus whatever accessories they plan on getting from the dealer.
Someone could easily get over 60k in the hole on one of these and go in thinking they are going to get a $500/month payment. Not going to happen without some cash up front.

My wife doesn't even know about the reservation... not officially anyway. She probably saw the $100 charge by Ford and knew about the Bronco reveal that I was watching... so she may suspect it... but most likely not.

My plan is to keep her out of this until B&P is available. Once it is, she'll get to be part of this process.

My wife says in one breath that the Bronco is my thing, build it however I want, but then says that it does need heated seats, and the base is ugly, so I guess the bottom line is buy whatever I want, as long as it's what she wants... Since I might trade in her car, she does have a say, but right now I'm considering just keeping her car, which has all the luxury stuff she wants, and just buy myself a base.

I told my wife about the deposit. She was like, soooo, we're getting a new car? Which toy are you selling? Oh none of them. How much is this? Hmmm... then we didn't speak about it for quite some time then one day she just unleashed and vented that I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS VEHICLE. I wanna know what you know.

So I opened the flood gates of knowledge I had but it was too much for her so now I only share shit with her mainly on Monday's unless something huge happens during the week lol

I went to the dealership yesterday. Told my wife she wouldn’t even go with me. Says I talk about the Bronco too much Lol. Salesman was showing me stuff about the Bronco Sport SMH. I just let him talk because obviously I already knew more about the Bronco then him. Funny thing she works at the plant that makes the Bronco. She told me two test Bronco went down the line today. So Ladies and Gentlemen we have liftoff on the 2021 Ford Bronco. I believe a 4-Door and 2-Door.
