I'm also on this same path, reserved at (2door)BB thinking I'd basically up to a WT without the stuff I didn't want, but now I'm rethinking all that. Just picked up a side gig in case I end up going WT... of course then I'm gonna start thinking I need the Lux for speakers and adaptive cruise... shit.

Oh I know... for only a measly $n more you could have.... make it stop!

I hope they are black. IMO having everything the same color with no accents looks cheap. The black handles breaks up the side some.

100% agree...I'd hope for gloss black though. Beggers can't be choosers though I supposed

I reserved a Black Diamond and the wildtrak is the only other trim that interests me BUT no marine interior and I can basically upgrade to a 4 door and hard top and the 2.7-auto and still be at or around the wildtrak 2 door price.
the Sasquatch package isn’t of value to me I’d much rather have the bumpers and heavy skid plated and stuff. I don’t off road but I’d prefer a steel bumper and bash plates to plastic in a fender bender

I went WT since I will be replacing the bumpers to handle a winch, lights, rock sliders and skid plates. Once I saw the pictures of the stock bash guards beat to hell, I might want something heavier. Also want front and rear bumpers that you can mount a winch in the (front OR rear) receiver hitch as opposed to carrying it around 90% of the time on the streets and in the malls. I originally wanted the rubber floors but as long as the carpet is heavy duty )sure it can be rinsed out)and there is still the drain plug I should be all set washing the kids cheerios out of the floor after 20 minutes bouncing around washboard roads. The marine vinyl might be the issue, love the white and grey since I will get the White WT, think the would look sick, will have to see on the leather options...

Will the wild track have body color door handles? In the description it says color injected black but all pictures show body color.

We don't really know for sure - as you point out, all the pictures show body colored handles. And at one point Ford's website said that too, but now as @NM_21Bronco pointed out, it says black molded in color handles (which is a massive disappointment if true), so we'll just have to wait and see.

I suppose it's also possible that it comes with the black MIC handles, and painted ones are optional/an accessory. Don't know...

The Ford website says

• Door Handles - Molded-in-Color, Black

That appears to mean there's a choice....but either way, we'll know soon enough

And the black paint option for the Bronco is called "Shadow Black" so thats the most telling fact. Thats obviously a glossy color

Yeah you're right, it is glossy. I was checking out the colorizer on the Ford website - when you select 4 door, they use a Wildtrak trim and the black roof is glossy.

Have reserved Wildtrak 4 door simply because the first edition is sold out and only available in US.

WT has all the off-road goodies required for the desert run.

Rock crawling is a good option to have but from my perspective; seems like a long waiting for custom build badlands.

Not happy with the 8 inch screen as a standard instead of 12 inch on WT.

I think WTs get the black trim (grille, roof, etc.) all around. Honestly, it could just be website building issues (a box gets checked here, not check here, etc). I wouldn't be totally surprised if they made the handles the same Shadow Black too, but I'd prefer body color ones.

Question for the group... do you think the wildtrack (incl Sasquatch) or the Outer Banks + Sasquatch would be basically as capable rock crawlers (like rubicon and Moab) as Badlands? Aside of the disconnect, it seems like they could hang right in there.

I just wonder because it seems like all the videos are with Badlands as the Rubicon killer ... so are they saying the other trims can't compete?

I feel like that gets lost in translation. Everyone is acting as if you can only rockcrawl with a badlands. The more experienced can correct me, but I think without the swaybar, you just have to be more careful about making the correct lines and keep as many tires on the ground as possible (no safety net). I fully intend to play around in Moab with a wildtrak.

There are videos of the Bronco Sport crawling over moab terrain. So, I'm guessing any of the Broncos (2dr & 4dr) can handle a lot of what is out there to crawl over; not just the Badlands.

Nobody knows yet so you can't get a 100%, but there is nothing special about WT ... only FE and it has been confirmed Ford will offer x plan....but your selected dealer is a wildcard.

I went to the Canadian Ford site and looked at the Wildtrak. It’s showing body colored door handles and painted black grille. Also shows body color fender flares which we know aren’t true with the Sasquatch. The plot thickens....!

I think the handles will be body color and grill and mirrors painted black since the model comparison pdf shows Wildtrak is Outer Banks content plus whereas the other trims have Bend Bend content plus.
