Wildtrak also has most of the safety options standard plus the bigger engine standard. Have same logic is Texas where it’s pretty flat but gets muddy.

Good catch on the powertrain - I got so caught up in the options, that I skipped over the fact the Wildtrak has the bigger engine standard.

I chose a wild track but I’m really not sure if I’m gonna follow through with it depending on the Actual size if it’s too small I’m going to pass ....( I had a hummer H3 and loved it 65,000 miles never missed a beat) if they still made it I would another one . the bronco wild track Kinda reminds me of the hummer H3 , ..... FYI I am not the type to go off road anyway I don’t even like to get my tires dirty I guess I’m a poser when it comes to that but I like the technology and the newness of the vehicle .....love Fords have a 18 GT 350 Shelby a 14 150 tremor, if I don’t pull the trigger on this bronco I’m going for a new 150 or a raptor thanks for listening

Yes! The 2.7 ecoboost twin turbo is a beast , and the all new 10 speed (discussed on other forums) sounds incredible... both left off mc253’s list above of comparable Adding the Sasquatch, 2.7l and mid option to the badlands in my opinion will easily surpass the WildTrak msrp!

Good thing is that Ford rep confirmed we can all change our mind on the model come order time on our reservation., so switching to a badlands if we want is no issue. I think the 200+ OEM accessories are going to mix things up a bit, especially since the debut vehicles are so lavishly clad with them (perhaps something like that white cage, saddle leather, etc).

I know for me, especially being in Florida, I'd rather have the creature comforts, and know I won't end up doing much rock crawling, so I'd rather have a Sport mode than a Rock Crawl mode. My opinion could change once order guides come out, but that's been my thinking at the moment.
Same here in Texas and I will be keeping my 2 door Rubicon so if I want to go rock crawling will just take the Jeep.

I put a deposit on the Wildtrak, but didn't realize it is only available with 35's I want a Bronco with 33's but they are only available in the badlands, and when you look into the Badland specs, it replaces the sport mode with rock crawl. I really like the Wildtrak but why no 33 inch tire option with 4.46:1 gears. No matter how Hard I try I can't get 33's 4.46:1 gears and sport mode.

So looks like no Bronco for me

Chose the Wildtrak because im much more likely to take it off road in the desert and regular overland trails then rock crawling. Love that it gets the Sasquatch package, Mid Package, and the bigger engine by default. Gonna add the Lux package and the steel front bumper and call it a day.

I also went for the Wildrak. Giving up my Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude package and this trim feels the closest to my Jeep. I am desperately searching for an Area 51 color in depth to confirm this is more of a blue or gun metal color, anyone?
Let me know if you get any leads, looking at Area 51 also

someone requested photos... is there any photo that gives you a better sense of calm with all thats going on in the world right now, other than this? If so, lets see them... wildtrak themed of course! :)

and yes I realize it may not be a wildtrak because the roof doesn't look painted.... but i just love the Sasquatch look and super happy that our choice comes standard with it.

To me 33's are the sweet spot in tire sizes, 32 are to small looks like little rubber bands, 35's look awesome, but have a bunch of downsides, Putting 35's on my 77 bronco was the biggest mistake I ever made. I loved it with the 33's it drove better, braked better, was easier to get in and out of, it accelerated better even with 456 gears. You can go just about anywhere on 33's that 35's can go, and it will just drive better.

I think the guys who buy a Bandlands are going to be disappointed only have eco or normal mode on the street. I have driven plenty of fords with the 10 speed auto, and unless you are in sport mode the trans can never decide what gear it wants to be in, and will never hold the gear you think it should be in. It will always be two gears higher than it should, then when you want to accelerate it says WTF are you doing and after a few seconds it says ok I know what you want and downshifts like 3-4 gears. In sport mode it will hold a lower gear longer, and wont be as confused.

I think I wildtrak with 33's could be the best all around Bronco, but the crack heads at ford can't figure that out

What’s the difference between the Wildtrak suspension and the First Edition suspension?
Is the Wildtrak suspension the same as the Badlands + Sasquatch package?
And is the First Edition just as good for desert running?

I am gonna do the same thing...just depends on how much the LUX package is but I figure why not go all out!

Bro you have not driven it yet. We don't know how good they programmed the transmission and the suspension in the Wildtrak is light years ahead in another galaxy compared to your 77 bronco. We just got to wait...maybe the 35's are perfect!
