I am likely a Warthog person unless it is only a 4 door. All the gnashing of teeth and wringing of hands is tiresome. My Investment so far is a refundable $100 to stand in line.

It is somewhat shocking how bumbling the site is. They can't even be consistent with the spelling of THEIR OWN TRIMS! Like, how is all of this not proof-read repeatedly before launch. ESPECIALLY given the extra time. Staggering.

Don’t forget the ”Mut/Ruts” mode.?

It IS only a 4-door. It's going to be too wide to have a 2-door version.

Warthog potentially for myself as well depending on timeframe and cost and if a 2DR. No idea what those variables look like at this point, so it’s wait and see. I should probably take a break from the forum at least until B&P is out and we all get some more concrete data.

At least they are consistent across the trims!

Maybe that mode is there so Henry Ford can run over people’s dogs like some people are thinking Ford is treating them!

Fair point. Warthog could convince me to go 4DR. 4DR does have the extra space and functionality that would be nice, but the look is off for me personally. Wider track could sway me.

Funny, I way prefer the 4dr. I feel like the 2dr looks a tad wacky. That's the fun of all this! We all dig different things.

Hey guys. I have been thinking of installing a C clip eliminator on my 8.8 rear ((96 Bronco) to prevent the axle from walking out of the tubes in the event I break an axle. I could either do that or install a disc brake conversion.

BUT ...

It's my understanding that C clip eliminator's are not very useful at preventing a broken axle slipping outwards under side load (they are more for drag racing in a straight line) and I am not a hard core wheeler, more of an overlander, so before I do anything I thought I would ask y'all what are the odds of actually needing a C clip eliminator at all? I mean, how often does anyone actually break an axle unless you are doing hard core rock wheeling?

I have a feeling I am worried about a problem that very rarely would be an issue. Anyone ever actually lose an axle?

Because all this stuff was slapped together. They Cut and Pasted as they went up the trim levels. No regard for proof reading. So they just carried over the mistake(s). It’s probably the reason why you see carbonized grill then black grill. Colored door handles, then molded in color door handles.

Quick sanity check .... there has been no confirmation of whether or not the warthog variation will be available at launch, right?

Also - this is the first time I noticed a reference to the 'Adrenaline Rush Package'. Anybody know what all it entails?

If I remember correctly, the Adrenaline Rush was the original name for the Sasquatch Package.

The Ford website says a black painted grill for the Wildtrack in one place and says a carbonized gray grill for the Wildtrak in another place.... Ford really needs to get their shit together...
Its a different world and Im beginning to have doubts as to whether or not Ford can actually develop, produce, and deliver a new model like the Bronco
Since Ford has zero history of launching a new vehicle....

---

The reality with something like this with hundreds if not thousands of people working on it, there are going to be cases where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing on the website - different people working on different parts of the site, uploading different info, etc.

I know I'm the odd ball but I have 0% interest in anything Hog or Raptor. I don't get the appeal but that is OK.

I've been 100% Sasquatch and 100%, 2.7 V6 since day 1, but everything else is waiting on BnP.

I just don't see a need to have an engine with so much Umpf when you'd rarely be able to use it. But then again I was the only one that stuck with the 600cc Bikes when everyone else was getting the 1000+ .... how fast do you really need (or can even go)

Now if Bronco only came with a manual 4 banger and the WH added the V6 auto... now maybe.... but if it just boils down to bragging rights.... I could care less.

Its a new world these days...Some might agree that there are things occuring in this country lately that are historically unprecedented.
Time will tell... but layoffs and pandemics and potentially historically high incompetence levels could take a toll.
Website errors are not the end of the world but they may suggest a lack of attention to detail...
Ineffective corporate communication is not the end of the world but it is avoidable...
Im just hoping the left hand knows what the right hand is doing when Ford actually gets around to building the Broncos.
A quality relatively trouble free new vehicle imho will require a high level of attention to detail...

The Bronco will be my slowest vehicle That I have or had by far, so I would like the most power that is available. If that’s the 2.7L, then that’s what I’m getting. If the Warthog is the 3.0L or whatever else (and price is decent) then that’s what I’ll go with. I know it’s a SUV and a lot of people don’t care about acceleration. That’s fine with me. I do care though.

When it comes to bikes, I’m good. I’ve gotten to 158 mph at the track and the bike got me there quick enough. That is plenty for me. I don’t need the 200hp on a 400lb vehicle. I’ll stick to my 157hp thanks!
