All information given by Ford has pointed to a Mustang-inspired name (as in using a historic Mustang nameplate) and having both a Mustang logo and tri-bar taillights. I think Ford is going to want to make it clear that this abomination is part of the Mustang "brand"AFAIK they haven't actually put the "Mustang" name on them. It is no different than before, the other models borrow some styling and marketing, but not the name.
