If you have already have a vehicle on order and take delivery after the tariffs are in effect will the delivered price be affected?

With the Bronco built in America and being delivered to a US dealer, there should be no added tariff affecting delivery. Now, if the tariffs are persistent on parts, then there will most likely be an increase to Job2 produced Broncos (there likely will be anyway without tariffs).

If a buyer was in Canada, then the final cost will be higher because of the tariffs.

If you have a confirmed price prior to the tariffs, regardless of what they're on or where they're applied or when your vehicle was built, they should honor that confirmed price. Now, they'll probably have less room to haggle and will be less willing to give you money off, BUT they should start at the pre-tariff quoted price.

Even if the final vehicle is assembled in the US, many of the parts will be coming from various other countries (primarily Canada/Mexico), so those parts will cost more, which will be passed on via final vehicle price increases.

I find that highly suspect in this day and age of "oh, that's not the price, it's just a fee" being added on to everything. Phone, cable TV, you name it.

I went to my local diner yesterday; they had a big sign on the door. They're not changing prices, but due to the egg shortage they're adding a fee on top of every egg dish price.

But they're not changing prices. Just ask them.

And we're talking car dealers here???? They practically invented "here's the price, but you can't buy it for that".

" “So in steel, we get 90 percent of that from the United States. We get about 10 percent from Canada and nothing meaningful from Mexico. Aluminum also is not that impacted for us,” Ford CFO Sherry House revealed "

Specifically in the case of Broncos coming into Canada from Michigan, the Canadian government has proposed 25% tariffs on assembled vehicles imported from the US. I would assume that cost is definitely going to be passed on.

Very tough situation for dealerships especially. They may be stuck with expensive vehicles they eventually will have to sell at a large loss.

We will most likely see rebates more than a price hike as inventory levels get excessive. Tariffs have more effect on commerce as everyone over bought prior to the tariffs coming into effect. Reminds me of the toilet paper shortage during covid. I have been vehicle shopping and the sweat spot for buying is getting close.

Basically giving Chevy the Canadian Truck Market in one swing of the pen. I wonder if Chevy will price gouge or reap the benefits.

Just assume Ford will introduce a new mid-year price price level increase whether tariffs are involved or not. The factory keeps their profit margin numbers super secret but I can't see there isn't enough there to absorb a couple hundo for a short period of time. The bronco market is pretty much flat right now and they're throwing rebates at prior model years like mad. Assuming they would get hit with some increase, common sense would say you build sold retail units and throttle back on stock to keep your dollar cost average lower.

Say Waffle House without saying “Waffle House”.
