Window Control Switch Peeling

Hey All,

Has anyone experienced their light switch controls with pealing plastic/rubber? The rubber coating on my drivers side switch is pealing off. I haven’t heard of anyone else complaining about this so maybe it’s just me. Thoughts? Also does anyone know the part number?

The part you need is M2DZ-14529-AB.

Yeah, one of mine peeled after a few months. Not worth trying to convince my dealership to fix it under warranty for something so small, so I left it alone.

Mentioned this to the dealer while in for another issue. Replaced the switch with a new one - covered under warranty.

I also have had the driver side switch start to break down. Thanks to @2door for providing the part number. I may look at replacing myself.

My dealership is replacing mine as it is a warranty problem.

Had mine replaced last week under warranty along with the horn/airbag steering wheel cover that had developed a crack. That and three recalls. Total bill: $0…. Just had to leave it there for a fee days while on a business trip.
