Mine go back up on their own. At first I thought I hit something when they went up while I was backing out of the garage.

I tried mine this morning in real world usage. Hit the unlock button of the fob, both windows opened a crack. Got in, closed the door, driver window went up. Pushed in the clutch, just about to hit the start button, the passenger window went up by itself.

Now, if they would only allow actuation from the door handle rather than the fob!

Of course itā€™s an improvement. The windows no longer catch on the seals and wobble when you open a door. They will go back up after you open and close a door. If not something is wrong.
Exactly but thatā€™s the problem-the windows are not going back up on their own.

Like I said, if they arenā€™t going back up on their own there is a problem. Dealer time.

I have an 8/23 build and mine slightly opens with the key fob as well but unlike the OP mine go back up. Even if I donā€™t get in the vehicle they go back up within 5 mins (probably less I havenā€™t timed it)

I'm one of those overly cautious/OCD folks that hits the unlock on my fob EVEN IF the vehicle is unlocked just to get the window drop. I will also hit the interior unlock switch before exiting the vehicle to get the window to drop as well.

I hate the window wobble when opening the door against a fully closed window. Just seems like years of opening door and not having the window out of the weather strip isn't going to be good. Glad mine was built in 8/23 so it was already updated.

Yup, my 8/23 will do the window drop with the remote, then if you don't get in, it will close in a few minutes. I believe it's even less than 5 minutes. Maybe 2?

Is this not something that can be fixed for prior models at all?

It is NOT supposed to do that. Might have something to do with the intelligent access? Like, it knows you are close so assumes you want to open the door?

Mine certainly doesn't do that, and nether have any of the Mustangs I have owned.

Well, I sure hope ford does an update for 21s and 22s models, it will save lots of grief in the future. I WOULD love to be able to unlock and see the windows drop like they should have done all along.

My 2023 job2 Bronco does this, drop on key fob unlock and go back up on their own. This feature is about the only thing that does work on mine so far. šŸ˜‚

My friend has a 2022 and the ā€œdealer saidā€ ford is supposed to release an update so hers will have the feature too. He had no idea when that may be though.

Just tested on my 23 badlands with build date of 11/22. It does not do this. This is a new feature. I would really like this. Would be best if they role down when you grab the handle also.
