Seem to be having an issue with the washer fluid being dispensed, thought it was an issue with a line to the front nozzles but the rear window wiper also struggles to dispense more than an initial cough of fluid.. anyone else had a similar issue?

Hi, yes. My Outer Banks stopped pumping wiper fluid to both front and back wipers. Checked the fuses and all good. Iā€™ll be calling tomorrow to set an appointment. I donā€™t hear the pump running at all when calling for fluid. Iā€™m guessing the pump went bad.

Iā€™ve had a few times where I have to hold the button down for anything to happen. I always have a spare washer fluid with me because it definitely likes to be full.

Yep, it happens. Weā€™ve had several instances where we thought we were out of fluid. Something wrong with the design, for sureā€¦ šŸ™

I think someone posted a video about a washer fluid hose becoming disconnected.

I canā€™t even hear the pump running when calling for fluid. Pump has to be bad I think.

Yep. Just happened to me. Fluid was nearly gone but no indicator telling me it was and zero fluid coming out of either front or rear. The wiper functions but no spray . Poop!

What did they discover? Bad pump? Bad fuse? I dont see any bad fuses so far. Have mine scheduled at the dealership this thursday for the same issue. No wiper fluid dispensing, it was almost empty and no indicator telling me so ?? Now its full and not leaking anywhere but zero coming out. Wipers work fine.

Mine stopped working for half a day on a 800mile day. Just decided not to work for 6 hours or so. It always has to pump a bit before thereā€™s any spray if itā€™s been a day since use. My Tacoma can sit for a month and immediately spray as soon as itā€™s touched. Somethingā€™s not right with the Ford washer system.

Thereā€™s gotta be a way to test continuity, right? I donā€™t hear it even trying.

About to dig into the service manual.

Well, mine isnā€™t leaking. Thatā€™s for sure. Itā€™s very much full.

What a pain in the ass to access. Iā€™m all about doing the work myself, but in this case Iā€™m taking it to the dealer to handle under warranty.
