Sorry in advance for posting a question which I believe has probably been answered several times. After quite a bit of searching, I decided to post the question.
Quick background - we have a Wildtrak...drive between NJ and VT every weekend in the winter. VT gets rather icy - and we often see 10 to 15 degrees below often. I believe snow tires are the only way (we started runing them on a LandCruiser and Burban - what a difference).
I was originally looking for a snow tire direct replacement for the Wildtrak in the same size - could not find anything (Nokian, but on backorder - TireRack had nothing)....
So, I was thinking I would might go for something more narrow (less floaty) which is still approx 35" inches. Has anyone gone that path? And to what size? Did it require new wheels? (I am fine buying new wheels - actually have been looking for an excuse to buy some Black Rhinos)
