Can you comment on if it made a difference?

From the TSB: "Reprogram the WACM using the latest software level of the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS)." Sounds like you need to take it to the dealer.

The WACM software update on MY22 didn't seem to make any difference for iPhone 14 pro. The phone will charge fine when centered on the pad, but spotty if not centered. I also updated the software for passenger and driver doors, the instrument panel, and chassis. I had previously updated the driveline, ABS (traction control switch fix), and steering (severe duty upgrade). DIY with FDRS software.

I’ve read for the past two years of issues of heat and disconnecting on the 21 and 22 Broncos, my 23 has never had any issues with my iPhone 14pro. I wonder if that was a hardware fix or maybe it had this software fix?

The wireless charger in my 2021 Badlands is pretty useless. I don't even use it anymore. I'll have to see about the update. Thanks

How fast does that puck charge? I’ve found that only the OEM Apple ones charge at full power, all of the other ones I’ve tried are slower. I don’t know why that it, somehow they’ve got a monopoly on 15W charging?

Also, what is that thing plugged into your USB?

So now your tie rod ends are beefier just from a software update? Sweet.

I did something very similar. The phone charges quicker for sure, and i know that it's in the right spot with the magsafe puck. Think I paid like $14 for the charger.

Yes and charges it to full.
I searched 15W usb C and a few came up. I tried to get the threekey one off amazon but it was always sold out so I found this one.

Works great. The magsafe holds the phone and centers it. A bit of 2 way tape and it solved a very annoying problem.

Its a USB light. You can change the colors. I have an outer banks and have switched grab handles so mine are blue to match the door panels.
