If you don't need parking protection, then you don't have to hardwire it, just use the cigarette lighter.

Yeah that digital mirror was the deal killer for me. It does not fit properly in the Bronco. I am not gonna "pivot" the rearview mirror/monitor to use my visors.

This is more of what I was looking for anyway. Just "digital insurance" in case I get into a fender bender. I am happy looking out forward and back using my eyes instead of looking into a monitor in the place of my rearview mirror. YMMV
