I get so many compliments on these wood inserts from Amazon, I think Ford should consider adding a submodel called the "Woodsman" or something along those lines, and load up with wood accents. Built for that guy who makes furniture, or the local scout master, but with some flare. I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I'd like this myself, but once I put them on, I instantly loved them and how it made the cabin feel. I've heard many times from those who have never been in a Bronco "wow, this is much nicer than I thought it would be, love the wood look!" I really do think Ford is missing an opportunity here. These weren't but maybe a $100, and I didn't use all of the pieces (note the window switch area).

I wish there were more pieces I could buy to keep going with the "wood" feel. Especially on the door panels, I see a cool opportunity for the indention on the bottom edge, the handle, and even perhaps the arm rest pad. Any of you 3rd party vendors on here have any ideas that would play well with what's there now, please let me know! I'd love to talk!

I really thought I would hate it before I opened this thread, but I don't. However, I think it only works with the tan/brown of your interior. It would probably look really out of place on the other interiors.

They should go back and make the Filson Edition with real wood interior pieces and that baseball glove seat leather we all wanted...

Same.

Read the title and immediately thought, "can't wait to look at this train wreck of an interior", but honestly... don't hate it at all.

And yeah, I think it probably would only work on the Roast/Truffle seats on Outer Banks.

Thanks guys! I agree, it plays well with the Roast color interior. Not sure why they got rid of that option? I wasn't sure how'd I like it either, saw it in a Heritage parked next to me earlier this year and loved it. They had changed the seat covers to a brown leather as well.

Brian, they're the same plastic type stuff from the Autozone Nissan Altima days (we all know what that's like). From Amazon, a kit for about $100, Muslogy is the brand. Just wish there were a few more pieces for the doors to consider. I'd love to change the door handles.

I did order some roast color insert strips for the two side grab handles and the center grab handle to replace the gray. We'll see if that works or not. I'm certainly not trying to make this into a knock-off Gwagon wannabe, but rather having a little fun with thinking of throwback elements to the 1970's when we had wood panelling everywhere! That was my initial thought when I bought this kit last spring, but ultimately came to the conclusion that it also added a bit of "churchin' it up" for cheap.

Ford will call it the Morning Wood edition. 😳

Ford should use the same faux woodgrain finishes in their newly remodeled dealerships to help alleviate owners' stress from failing to fix myriad problems with these vehicles.

I like it! The wood really goes well with the roast colour seats and the tanish interiors.

Those pieces from Amazon is not bad at all. I did a carbon fiber, the flat colour style (real name escapes me as I type this), and it came out really nice. Heck, my Raptor CF option is basically the same thing! I may buy that same kit again and use it on Ashoka.

@Nc211 Looks nice! What year is your Bronco? Trying to see if it will fit my 2025 model. The Amazon description says fits 2021-2024 model years

Mine is a 2024 OBX, but I suspect it’ll fit a 2025 as I don’t think anything changed in the areas where it goes. I will say, I have been pleasantly surprised at the durability of it. I toss keys, wallet, phones etc at the center storage tray with reckless abandon, and no scratches or dings on the wood pieces.

Now you need some Pledge or Old English furniture polish for detailing the interior. Get the lemon scented one, that's what I use on my faux carbon fiber. BTW, it looks really nice!
