Got the Ford performance tune a few months back and have updated MPG numbers to share.

80/20 highway commute/City driving has been averaging 22.9mpg over the past 5k miles. I usually go between 74mph max and occasional stop and go on my commute. Average about 60mph overall.

Towing a 1400lb teardrop trailer for 6k miles out west through the Rockies and back east average 19.8mpg.

My bronco is a 2023 2 door black diamond with stock tires and 65k miles on the clock. Overall running the tune with 91 octane has added about 2mpg to my average in both towing and regular driving.

That's really good! My '23 Wildtrak SAS with the Ford Performance Tune averages 17mpg lifetime but my driving is closer to 20/80 highway/town in SoCal. Average speed is probably 35mph lol. I did notice driving all highway down to San Diego at 50-70mph I was averaging 24mpg so the potential is there, just not for my small town trips.

I have a 4 door Badlands Sas with the 2.7. Did the Ford Performance Tune but put on new coilovers and 37" tires and new beadlock wheels/rims. On my end I haven't seen any mileage gain, but then I didn't really expect to see any. I'm even slower than before the tune, suspension update, and wheels.

I’m trying to get my dealer to install this for me but they keep hitting me with some insane numbers that it would take HOURS to install. Can anyone confirm what was the installation price for this?
does it have to be a dealer or ase certified person?

There is no set installation price, unless you purchase the installation when buying it off Ford's website. Without that, every dealership can charge whatever they want.

LOL, I get about 15.8 MPG. 2 Door Lux squatch BL with 2 winches 2 steel bumpers and 37's on 4.7 gear. I mostly run 50ish, lots of stop go, oh yeah, and about once a month 8+ hours of trail riding.

Why I’ll prob purchase thru website. In my cart now. Do you leave your tune mounted? Is there any real benefit to it?

Anyone tried to use the 2.3L tune on the 2025 year model? Couldn't help but notice the specifications are for '21-'24.

There's an approval process they have to go through each year, generally they come out late summer. Although as Valhalla mentioned, the 2.3L injection method changed so that might put it out a little later this year. Note that if you're in Cali, CARB certification usually takes longer, I think sometimes through the next year even.
