I recently drove the southern portion on the Trans New Jersey Trail and I put together a video of a few of my favorite moments along the way, it was an incredible drive and made me a bit less envious of those of you out west!

Glad someone from out of state has something nice to say!

Very cool video, I agree the east coast has a ton of natural beauty to offer. Maybe we shouldn't overshare and keep the tourists going to Utah.

Love the Thoreau quote at the beginning.
Some pretty places there I would not picture in my head belonging in NJ.
Always a recharge getting out where the wild things are.

Awesome! How long of a drive is it?
Any chance you have a google map link to the route you took?

Curious about which part of the trail you did? Looks like you went over Hawkins bridge for one shot? A few months ago I started out at Batsto village, and then heading into the Wharton State forest from there, probably along a similar route. A lot of places to go once you are inside there, and I was a little afraid of adventuring too much because I was solo and didn't want to get stuck somewhere. But a fun time, and a ton of places to explore. In a few hours, only was able to scratch the surface...

I started in Hightstown, NJ and went South, most of the footage is Wharton State Forest and Bass River State Park. I only came across one mud obstacle that didn’t have a go-around and almost got stuck, I was pretty nervous, I was deep in the woods with no service, luckily I was able to push through. Definitely made a winch move up on the list of mods, haha… WSF seems endlessly explorable, I want to get back soon, I did get into some trails that were really narrow, plenty of trail stripes to prove it…

And if you go down any dusty beach roads, watch out for those skeleton frames of burned out Chevrolets

Fantastic filming. I liked seeing the verrazano bridge. Being that you started in heights town. You were very close to the ghetto safari. Look it up. It's in Jackson.
