Hello there,

I recently had the chance to purchase a Base, 2 door, manual Bronco, that I gave the name Burronco.

So far I was able to give it a few minor ulgrades:

Eibach 2.0 Coilovers
Method wheels (in matching donkey gray)
Mickey Thompsons (because mud, snow, small cars, etc.)
Oracle stoplights (I like the way they look)
Made it into a flatbed (because dogs and home depot)

Things I am yet to install, since I'm lazy as a burro:
PA system and siren (Cali traffic here I come "honk honk")
Sidesteps (wife is a shorty)

I'll try to post updates here as I install thingy things on the Burronco.

P.S. Contemplatin wether or not to make a separate thread about my DIY rear seat delete and flat floor install. By far it is my best upgrade, as I use the hell out of it.

"El Burro" would be a better name! At least you got it right by having the "Manuel transmission"! Nice build!

Haha I thought about "El Manuel" but that might push it too far for the locals.

Hey Ford, are you noticing? How about making a factory rear seat delete option on the two door Bronco. Thanks.
It makes sense. My 70 and 72 both left the factory with no rear seat.

Looks great! How are you liking the Eibachis? 35s?
To be truly honest, I have mixed feelings about the coilovers. They perform great both on the road and off the road. However, after putting about 7 8k miles on them, front left dropped by ½ inch. The issue I have with this particular model is they don't have a lock collar or a screw to "lock" them in place. Not sure what Eibach was thinking.. It is easy to crank them back up, but now the tool they provide is going to crap (I know they solved this by making a bulkier tool). So yeah.. Just like a donkey.. you love it and hate it at the same time.

And yes - 35s.

God knows how many regulations make it illegal or financially non-viable to have a two seater option.

But hey -We got sawzalls, plywood, fingers and time to lose.

Certain Mustang models have the rear seat delete option so I fail to see why there would be any reason for the Bronco not to have it as well.

Better to lose time than to lose fingers! :ROFLMAO:

Just a fair warning to those here: doing a seat delete on my MINI Cooper made the car practically unsellable on the used market. If you plan on *ever* selling the car, do not delete the rear seats or be willing to reinstall when it comes time to sell.
