The NHSTA would like your location.

Joking aside, looks good. How’s the head and leg room?
I should have added 'Not for Highway use' explicitly. Head and leg room for 5 ft tall and under. Kid tested. No problems.

Nice work!
One Improvement I could see, a bar bolted across the rear securing the seat belts would be safer. Sort of an added failsafe if something happens with a turnbuckle or three. Would be better if it was bolted separate from the tie down mounting points, but not sure how you could accomplish that.

Come on, sell it like the 2-door guys.... "my 6' 7" children ride back there comfortably every day, while the cargo compartment still has ample storage for a weeks vacation."

Nicely done.

So, you take two vehicles to your off-roading destination then transfer the kids from vehicle #2 to the Bronco's third row?🤔

I thought I'd share this install for a fold and Tumble rear seat. Connected to Cargo tie downs. Apparently rated at 450 lb each. Plate to connect shoulder belts also.

As a 2DR owner with no back seats, I just ask..."WHY?"

Ford, this is what the 2nd row should have done in the first place...fold and tumble.

Now, Let the "School Bus yellow" and optional 3rd row seat comments commence....

I think this is in the Dictionary under definition of Darwinism. "Those who survive parents stuffing them in homemade/3rd party third row solution and survive."
Back of pick ups, kneeling on the center console, lying behind/above the back seat under the rear window, lying in the back part of a hatchback.

All no seatbelt, all on highway. Not condoning it, but this (bronco third row) pales in comparison to what we used to do. haha

I had side foldout seats in my 88 ranger extended cab and was just thinking how great they’d go as a third row option. Nice job!
I had the toolbox option instead of seats on my 86 Ranger, so i added fishing seats. The survivors are now 47 and 45.

I'll expand the definition.
