Note this was NOT forscan. I tried to do the JBL soundbar flash using the dealer software. I have not tried the forscan programming.

Thanks for the clarification. I will try using Forscan today or tomorrow. I have already used it to give me sport mode, remove chimes, honk, nav features, etc. This has been a great investment.

Anyone notice when you use Forscan to open up the rear speakers that the on board warning chimes like tripled in volume as well? I know I can disable them with Forscan, but anyone know of a way to turn those down using Forscan. If not I will just eliminate them. I like having the seatbelt chimes in case the kids take my Bronco for a ride. ;o)
Interesting... Did you do 3800 or 3801? Is one better than the other?

We started with flashing something at the dealers
I think the last guy who "flashed something at the dealer" got lead out in handcuffs. This may not be the optimal solution.

Actually I did the second line changing from 0901 to 0900 disabling occupancy mode. 727-01-02 from 0901 to 0900. Rear sound much louder. Got some JL 4” speakers I will be installing this weekend. I think there is debate on which line to change. I went with JediMcMuffins approach. Anyone think it’s better to adjust line 1 only?

By the way I have a 2 DR Black Diamond SAS with 6 Speaker standard system 8" screen.

Sorry if I missed it, but has anyone tried the Forscan EQ changes with the B&O system? They barely put out any volume, don’t think a speaker swap is all that’s needed back there.

The only thing I noticed so far was two extra options to add to myview. 7 “gauges” or display options instead of 5. I only noticed because I had to reselect them after it finished and I wasn’t sure why it kept going after 5. I might notice more when I drive tomorrow but definitely not worth the time for just that.
Dang, was hoping for an option of an analog tach lol.

I did line 2 original, just like that... Didn't notice any change 🤷

What Nav features?
More like a reduction of a Nav feature. There is a code that simulates you are in another country which eliminates the lock screen function while moving. Essentially you (or of course your passenger) can now type in an address on the screen while driving...

Well, I went in and hooked up Forscan to my Badlands with Lux and those codes are not the same to get the full range sound for the rear pods. So I guess it is just for the Base system. Hopefully someone will eventually share when they unlock those rear pods for the B&O.

14 pages of confusion now. I sure wish someone could just do a summary.
For those not changing any hardware, what's the preferred method?
For those changing hardware....same.

We started with flashing something at the dealers, then went into Forscan hell where there seems to be a lot of disagreement?
Don't worry, there's plenty of time to clear this up before you get your Bronco next year.

Just did the change and can notice a difference. Also noticed the chime was WAY louder.

After som digging I got into a different module and made the chime only use the instrument panel, not the speakers.
