I went to check this total a little while ago only to find that it jumped to 1195 similar vehicles. I was pretty disappointed until I realized that my status had finally changed to "In transit". One step closer....

The order tracker seems to be inconsistent from person to person. It hit 500 for me. That is the lowest it’s been since climbing above 640 last week.

It’s a good sign, but it’s still moving pretty slow. I expect the numbers to ramp up significantly when production starts back up next week.

Not to pour cold water on the numbers but if some units are being withheld for parts then these numbers are not necessarily FIFO but more like FIFO'ish (first in first out if there are no holds), correct?

I am no expert but would guess that it differs due to blend dates. My assumption is it is a rolling calculation and so is constantly growing and shrinking due to production and shipping. Overall though the number seems to be lowering which is good for everyone.

Nope, not buying it, considering Ford sent several of us an email this morning with this little gem in it after missing several delivery windows.

"To ensure your complete satisfaction, we will require additional time before your 2022 Bronco™ Wildtrak™ is delivered"

They are orders “awaiting shipment”.

Ford reports the Broncos on plant hold due to missing parts as “built awaiting shipment”. That’s why I get a new estimated delivery window every week.

FIFO is a fantasy. The order will be determined by what parts are available and when they are installed. Another factor is the physical location of the vehicles. Your Bronco could be buried behind hundreds waiting on parts. This is a giant train wreck of a mess.
