Our bronco is one week old, at home. This morning we were putting the doors back on, and the upper bolt for the back left (drivers side) door was not going in very well. We took that bolt in and out then eventually used the bronco tool kit to tighten it down. When tightening it down the bolt snapped!!! Upon talking to our local dealership and scheduling a appt for next week, they’re not sure this is something under warranty!!!!! Curious to hear all of your thoughts. I’m guessing the bolt is cross threaded and will need to be drilled out. If not, ford may have to replace the part on the door or the entire door. The below picture shows the bolt broken in the door and the actual bolt after it broke. Thoughts?
