My Daily needs two things.

1 - a Stick Shift
2 - Really good Air Conditioning.
3 - decent driving dynamics.

So, something with a stick, a good A/C, and rear wheel drive. That leaves me with a Bronco or a Mustang for Ford.

Bronco ought to be a better daily than the Mustang due to better visibility.
LOL. Two things......

I lost interest in having two cars to upkeep, so I combined the DD & fun car into one and that is how I ended up ordering the Bronco. Very happy with it as my solo car.

Being retired and owning multiple vehicles, I struggle trying to find reasons to drive my Bronco.

Wow, that is a nice looking bike. What specific model of Ducati is that? Year?

This is my “daily”...nothing to do with mileage or cost...just what I like to drive...

My daily drivers are a Fiat 500e and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 depending on the weather. I drive the Bronco in at least once a week, but save the miles for pleasure weekend stuff so far.

My Bronco is my daily driver. 21 or so highway mpg (20.5 overall last 8,500 miles which includes extreme highway driving and a few miles at top speed (101)

My son was telling me about Aptera and their calculator for how often it needs charging. You plug in where it would be parked, and how many miles you would drive and he would only have to charge it twice per year (if the rooftop solar panels are what they claim)

My two "daily's"... both bricks on wheels but the Bronco does get better fuel efficiency than the 75 F150 (3spd auto w/ 390ci). The 75 gets 5.25 hrs out of a tank. Doesn't matter if just idling or city driving... 5.25hrs per tank.

living in the north, I decided to keep my 12 raptor as my winter beater. I work from home so mileage isn't a concern.

I am always curious about buying a second vehicle to save money. If this this ever actually gets produced, it's going to be in the $50k price range. If the average cost of fuel is $5/gal that $50k equates to 10,000 gallons. If your Bronco averages 18MPG the cost of one of these will take your Bronco 180k miles. 180K is the break even point in "savings". At 100 miles per day it would take 1800 days to break even. That is if you never drive the Bronco during that time.
This. Add to that the cost of registration and insurance (at least in New Jersey) and I don’t think I could ever save enough fuel to justify a second DD- even a clunker. I did, though, keep my 17-year old Jeep around to absorb the punishment (weather, bad roads, bad drivers) of my daily commute.
Both the Jeep and that commute are history, and I’m more than happy with my 2-door BB as my DD. It’s getting 21-22 mpg and providing the most fun I’ve ever had with a motor vehicle.
