Bull or No... Bullbars

Installed my DV8 bull bar today.

ordering some lights from @4x4TruckLEDs.com as well. They have great instructions to tap into the upfitter wires under the hood. My bumper lights and A-pillar lights were a snap to install.

camera is still usable with minimal block. I can snap a pic if you like.

look and feel are quality. Packaging was great. No way could this thing get dinged in transit. I did order during Labor Day weekend and it just arrived. They did send me an email that stated it was on backorder. I checked back in a few weeks later and they gave me a date of Oct 14th to arrive and it arrived slightly ahead. If it’s in stock now, you should get it quicker.
I’d recommend this to anyone with the mod bumper. I did look at the pre-runners but felt they were more than I wanted.

Personally like the short one from Stickerfab. I have the Capable on order with my Bronco but may switch to the modular so I can add the bar.

I prefer everything OEM. And here’s why: I learned from modifying my Jeeps that afternarket parts will always rust…FAST!

So go with the Safari bar.

I have the Ford bar and decided I didn’t like it. Too close to the grill for real protection and blocks the Bronco script. I probably won’t reinstall it, but I need something for all the deer around here. The JCR prerunner looks really good.

I’m digging the dv8 one I got. You can see it on the camera, but with the kick out you can see under it and over it. Didn’t actually piss me off. It’s usable. If it becomes a issue I’ll move the camera onto the bull bar.

They make some quality parts. Fasteners suck sometimes, but never a issue with the parts.

Good lord leave some running lights for the semis.

Do you guys know if the Stickerfab one comes with plates/mounts for lights on it or not? I actually don’t want plates to mount lights. The photos on their site don’t show plates, but the one question that was asked in the reviews is hard to follow if it has plates or not. Thank you.

I agree with part of this: It is too close to the grille. I installed mine just for looks. I actually like that it blocks the lettering.

But look, these bully bars aren’t functional if you’re talking about hitting deer at any moderate-high speeds, which would most likely be the case.
