No, but it is an inconvenience to take it in...

Got lucky. Mine threw the tread (both rear tires) after 900 miles on my brand new 98. If you didn't know better you would think they were re-caps.Hell, I even had the Firestone tire recall on a 2000 Exploder, got another year's use before Ford bought me a set of tires.
I mean anything that you’d put that much money into in a way is an investment. Doesn’t need to be something that necessarily makes you money. Could simply be something that provides value to you in any way and it would be nice to know that product has value. But to each their own and to each will define value differently.Nope.
and not sure I'd call something that depreciates as soon as you drive it off the lot an investment.
I knew when I hit post I would probably find someone who had a bad experience with them. I hope you and yours stayed safe through the ordeal. Mine were ATs. When browsing tires I've noticed Firestone/Bridgestone are quite expensive for having that bad rep.Got lucky. Mine threw the tread (both rear tires) after 900 miles on my brand new 98. If you didn't know better you would think they were re-caps.
Both Ford and Firestone pointed fingers at each other and told me to go F myself. I had Wilderness HT tires. They only ever did a recall on the Wilderness AT tires. I'm pretty pissed that my new Bronco came with Bridgestones.
Yet here you are, pot meet kettleLots of "fanboys" who will overlook the obvious flaws.
Um, I don't think you understand how that works.Yet here you are, pot meet kettle
Welp, first its not an investment. No car is. Secondly get off vehicle forums unless you want to be scared that your pride n joy is a piece of crap. Most people arent on forums and are quite happy with purchase. 3rd never buy a 1st or 2nd year vehicle if youre scared of recalls. Common for any new vehicle, new engine etc. Enjoy!Every other week there seems to be a new report of another Automotive manufacturer recalling thousands of vehicles due to what seem like big deal recalls (engine failures, fires, big failures). I hear this morning the latest from Ford effecting Bronco Sport and Escape models but a recall of almost 650,000 vehicles… wow.
Now I know the Broncos recalls have been pretty small - just some window adhesion and software bugs it seems thus far, but is anyone getting nervous about their investment in the company with these new Broncos? Me personally this will be the first Ford vehicle I’ve ever owned and really my first introduction to the company. I know recalls are pretty common for almost all manufacturers but Fords recalls especially this last year number wise are way above the other manufacturers?
