Meh, it's alright. It reminds me more of what the new Defender should have been. Those bumpers though. Stick out a couple inches too far and are a couple inches too tall.

From some of the posts over at BOF that have been transcribed over here it sounded like your original render was pretty close other than the rear window might have a little more slope to it.You're absolutely right, honestly I like to make what "looks good". My concepts are more intended for what a lifted and modified Bronco might look like. Mostly what I want my personal one to look like. I have to say I prefer my original render to this.
Yes, this is accurate.IIRC the shadow behind the baby bronco is the final design. The tarp is not.
Sorry, I rounded it off (too much), as we're currently a little short of 18 months since design freeze and about under 2 years following final styling approval on U725. CX430 came first in that respect, by a few months. What is your source? I haven’t heard that one..
I just saw Carmaker say a couple days ago that the design was locked almost two years ago. The tarp image was released almost two years ago.
Seems odd that Ford would release an official tarp teaser that would NOT be accurate right before or at the same time the design got locked.
I actually hate the hood on the shadow teaser by the way.
Yes, the photo utilized was taken almost 23 months ago (22 mos, 2 weeks). At the time, final concept approval wasn't done yet and competing teams were still wrapping up their individual full sized proposals (see examples of competing Mustang designs).Looking back I may actually be wrong, that tarp teaser was from 2 years ago not 3. Not sure, because the tarp pic and the shadow are definitely a bit different. The shadow is newer so if there are any changes then it would be more reflected there.
Certainly. I just hope it clears up anything too murky and explains a little. That's some cool info man.
you know what they say...."a picture is worth a thousand words"clears up anything too murky
And about 20 pages on a forum.you know what they say...."a picture is worth a thousand words"
