Here are total production and USA Sales numbers to date that shows how July is a slower month due to shutdowns. Year to date production for 2022 is 76,058 and 2023 is 83,656

That's almost 5,000 Broncos per state... No wonder they are not all that common. IF, and it's a big IF, 2 door Broncos were 10-20% of the total, that would be only 500-1000 2 door Broncos per state.

According to FourWheeler, a total of 225,585 first-generation Broncos were built between 1965 and 1977 when production ended. Of those, 203,544 were Wagons, 17,262 Sports-Utility Pickups, and 5,000 Roadsters.

So when people ask will my current Bronco be valuable? If you refer to the number produced in 2022, that makes up about 61% of the total numbers produced of the first gen.

These numbers are for Broncos sold in the USA.
The rest of the produced units were sold in Canada and the world.

There is also a pull thru or lag between produced and sold. You have shipping and dirt mountain type things that can delay. Sold iirc is the final sale being recorded

What every one else said, plus in automotive we have this horrible thing where if a complete vehicle fails certain test....we crush it because it is cheaper than being taxed for the parts to scrap it out.

Looks like gen 6 is going to outsell each previous gen by thy end of this year. Currently gen 3 is the number 1 seller with 328k. Mainly due to it being the longest lasting full size gen with 7 model years. Gen 6 will surpass those sales in less than half the time.
