Someone will make those.I think the black painted grill looks pretty amazing with the white lettering. Wondering if you can go with a paint matched grill...
Therer are two versions of the perforated type grille on the BL. The photos at the start of this thread are a good example where there is one with the signature lighting (LED strip is inside the circular headlight) while the other one is not. If you look at the ford bronco site there is also an AM Blue four door with I believe a base grille that that has the signature lighting even though it is not seen anywhere else. Also if you compare the BB and OBX grilles, the OBX has the signature lighting while the BB has a very similar grille but the led strip (or turn signal) does not go into the headlight. It seems that most grilles will offer the regular or signature lighing based on trim.Go look at the pictures again, the WT has the, I guess turn signal bar go through the middle of the head light. The BL has it just to the side giving a more round shape head light which is more retro..
I'll trade you when my Base model comes inYup, I have an FE reserved and I really don't like the look of those lights, I would much rather have the other style.
Deal!!!!I'll trade you when my Base model comes in
I'm sure there will be a parts swap thread in the B6G classifieds for those OEM parts that people want to swap, like LED headlights, taillights, grilles, tires, and wheels.Dang it! I am getting the wildtrak and I don’t like that grill
I like that it has fog lights already installed. That may be a place for me to compromise if the modular painted top is too expensive. I could leave off the modular bumper, safari bar and add-on fog lights.Thanks.
From the pictures above, the non-modular plastic bumper shape looks more rugged at the ends, but will have to wait and see the actual bumpers.
I have a feeling there will be a ton of aftermarket parts after a few years.Someone will make those.
Why not right here on bronco6g..I'll be happy to swap that new Cheesegrater Wildtrack grill for a black diamond or whatever model comes with the old Wildtrack grilleI'm sure there will be a parts swap thread in the classifieds for those OEM parts that people want to swap, like LED headlights, taillights, grilles, tires, and wheels.
https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-BFM0229-Oxford-Exact-Match-Automotive/dp/B00407RSG8Can a person(purchaser) oder a Badlands grille for an Outer banks trim, and keep the shutters ? This, like a buffet, ala carte if you will... BTW, can you make it Oxford white, to match the Oxford white Bronco, or is that going to far?
Ooooh, yeah! Something like their Revolver grille would be wicked smart on the new Bronco. ?In all honesty I'm hoping TRex Grilles comes out with some badass aftermarket grilles! Something with small baja pods in it!
Yep, that would be my question. Did the Wildtrak just lose the active shutters then because the Badlands grille does not have the shutters?Nice! WildTrak shaping up nicely- always liked that grill on the BL the best,.
Does this mean the WildTrak no longer has those active grill shudders (if that’s what they were called) that open and close to allow air intake - always thought that was just another thing that could break. Anyhow, hope they’re gone now!
Will they work with the different headlights?I hope grilles are an option. I'm getting the Wildtrak but I like the Base and the Black Diamond grille the most.
