DIO (Dealer Installed Options) Program Allows Bronco Accessories To Be Included In Purchase Price and Installed by Dealer

You'll be leaving money on the table, if you do. The price will have installation baked in to provide the dealership its labor credit.

So be it.
I've been through this before and the least amount of time my rigs have to be at the dealership shop the better. Not worth the fight when something goes sour.

Would they still be covered under the factory warranty if we installed them ourselves?

For something like DIO wheels will we get credit for the factory wheels? Example scenario: if Method Race wheels are available as a DIO will we get credit for the factory wheels? or do we end up with 2 set of wheels?

I guess this is an unique scenario with wheels and not applicable for other accessories.

Anything that is ForScanned in would not be, as that is not an authorized way to program a Ford...

This seems like a PR move to me. Really the main people who will take advantage of this are the reservation holders since you have to order your vehicle. After the reservations are filled, I’d guess most people will buy off the dealer lot, so they won’t get to take advantage of labor savings on the accessories. I’d be more impressed if the free install applied to all ford accessories for the bronco. Still good news for you guys who have a reservation though.
