I currently have the Oracle flush tails and really like them - but - some of the LEDs are going out. I hate it because I like the design and profile of these taillights, but they look like cheap crap with some of the LEDs being out.

Looking for opinions/experiences with the Morimoto and AlphaRex tails. In terms of function, I like the Morimoto's low profile almost as much as the Oracles. I don't want to throw $$ at another set of taillights if longevity sucks. I may put the factory signiture tails back in, but really like the lower profile. I have been on a few trails where the factory tails would not have survived...

So I had the same issue with my flush mount tail lights....they sent a replacement no issue since.

I have the alpharex fronts....you definitely want to spend time adjusting them....I did what was suggested in the install video about aligning one side before removing the other side....it still seems a little too high....and I get flashed alot by oncoming drivers....but I LOVE THEM.

The Morimoto tails are VERY popular and look fantastic. No complaints or issues. UNLESS you have factory halogens. There is an issue being reported with folks who have factory halogens. BUT if you have the factory LED no issues at all.

You can grab them from us (Use the REQUEST QUOTE button on our site): https://www.4x4truckleds.com/morimoto-xb-led-low-profile-tail-lights-for-2021-ford-bronco/

They are actually a bit less $$ over the AlphaRex and readily available from us.

I've had the smoked-lens Morimotos for some time now and love em. I was also able to trade-in the originals for $150 on the Morimoto site but that program is on hold right now. That made the price even more attractive along with a %15 off sale they were having at the time I bought them. Good luck and hopefully they'll bring back the trade-in program for you.

Good to hear. I am keeping the factory tails - just because... We'll see if Oracle offers a replacement - if not, I'll most likely go with the Mori's.

Update - the LEDs that stopped working decided to start working again and didn't blink all weekend. I'm hoping it was an anomaly and I don't have any more issues as I really love the Oracle tails...

Did your truck come with factory halogen tails or the LED tails?

Is the issue you mention only with the Morimoto tail lights, or is it with all third-party tail lights if upgrading from factory halogens?

The only ones I know of that NEVER have an issue are the Form Lighting. The reason they never have issues is that they tie into the 3rd brake light for some functionality.

If you have the upgraded LED tails from Ford, you should not have issues with the Morimoto. But if you have the halogen tail lights from Ford, some folks have reported issues with the Morimoto.

And there are customer complaints about Oracle as well, but I don't sell their products so I've not tried them myself.

For my $$, Form Lighting for zero issues. Non-halogen tails, Form or Morimoto.

In my mid-package Wildtrak, I did FORSCAN changes to get the Oracle tail lights operational. They are on their last legs and need to go. If I put Form in do I need to modify FS back to stock?
