Someone in other thread stated they didn't see many cancelations here. After all of the grief in this thread, nobody will admit to buying something else and cancelling. Hard to believe some of the people here.

In this particular case, the Thread Starter, cancelled his reservation, which is all Ford sees, a cancellation. Not that I've done it, but I doubt the process lets the reservationist register a complaint or reason why he is cancelling his reservation. It's just a numbers game. In the Year-of-the-COVID the biggest attention-getter for any automotive Executive is the cost of the pandemic on his company. The economic recovery in 2021 is a crapshoot at this moment in time. I'd place a wager that most Bronco cancellations will be economic related more than anything.

I don't know what the state of Ford is, but I work for an major international company that supplies every automotive manufacturer; especially Ford. You'd be surprised how things actually turned out this year. We surpassed expectations by quite a bit after initial forecasting earlier this year. So much so they had to start a third shift to keep up.

I hear about all the financial hardship on TV, but I don't know a single person experiencing it. Things aren't as bad nationally. Certain industries like restaurants are hurting in certain cities for example. But it's not as bad as the media claims. It's highly political.

I'm really tempted to post a new thread saying "Found my Bronco-Killer" and post a picture of a Dodge Caravan. And go on to talk about how great it is for the kids; how Ford sucks. At least I can take a little of the flak damage off of this OP...

Similarly to other complaints in the group, I"ve turned my down payment into a different vehicle. I couldn't justify spending 50k before tt&l. I'll look at a used black diamond in the future but I picked up a 2017 Titan with 22months/60k miles left on it's factory warranty for ~25k less than a bronco.

I’m thinking of just getting a midsized truck myself. I like the Bronco, but Ford is forcing me to make WAY to many compromises to get into an (not really) affordable vehicle. Spending 47K or more on a vehicle and still not being happy is insane! I really want the signature headlights but can’t get them on the Black Diamond, but can on the lesser Big Bend? Hate the Outerbanks so I’d have to spend an extra 6K for the Badlands Just to get the lights? Not going to happen.

I think all these "I'm Out" or "check out my new ride" posts are great. We shouldn't be harping on someone else for their decisions.

Think about if Ford is "watching" the forums which would be smart marketing they will see various people dropping out and various reasons why they will see where the problems are and maybe change some things for the better as they have in certain situations.

I understand the loyalty but this is a ridiculous statement. There has not been a 100% American vehicle in years. Toyota Tacoma's are built in California. Focuses are built in Mexico, and many parts come from Asia.

My 2012 Taco was built in Texas. Isn't that American? I only traded it in on a 17 F-150 because it was an extended cab and didn't fit my son's car seat. I sure do miss the 6 spd manual which was one of many reasons I ordered it in the first place.

Hate to break it to you but only 3/10 largest ford factories are in the United States. ~35% of the factories are based in the United States.

Titan was designed in California, engineered in Michigan & assembled in Mississippi.

Everything is foreign, sent from my foreign laptop, wearing foreign clothes, finishing my Chinese for lunch

I know of an OEM selling lighting products to the federal government. It literally took a room full of lawyers & procurement specialists to figure out which lamp products qualified for the 'made in america' program

This is very disappointing. The way I've viewed KIA is insulting. I have viewed KIA as "Killed In Action" as a slap towards USA. So the fact that any kind of assembly in America is insulting to me and I'm not even a Veteran, to those who are i support you and thank you sincerely.

Well, the true conversions won't be known until the customer actually signs the P&S paperwork at delivery. So, won't know full details until <wheneverthelastreservationisacceptedcancelled>. Maybe a rough idea by end of March.

Vet here, that is the weirdest thing to find disrespectful lmao. I’ve viewed Kia as a car company & K.I.A as killed in action. We’ve been allies with South Korea since like 1890 lmao
