The MPG thing just won't quit :geek: If it weighs something close to the Raptor (4 DR BL SQ Weighs 5320+ probably 100lbs. for SQ, Raptor about 5600lbs. ) has the same size tires, worse aerodynamics and higher numeric gear-set, it likely wont get better mileage than the Raptor. The 2.7 is marginally more efficient, but I have no doubt the heaviest Bronco 4dr SQ will average around 15MPG combined. My last three F150s (5.0, 2.7, 2.7 3.55,3.73.3.55 gears respectively) ranged from 17-19 without the bigger tires and with all the aero tricks like spoiler and wind tray underneath. I would be shocked if anyone sees 20mpg real world average with a SQ in any trim. Maybe BB two door 2.3l 10sp driven moderately.

F150 2.7L Ecoboost has similar curb weight to that of the 4Door BL 2.7L (4500-5000lbs). However, mpg on the f150 is 19 city/ 24 Highway.

12mpg city on BL seems pretty low, despite the 35s

Are we really driving the Bronco for great MPG? I figure that number will be higher than 12, but I don't expect anything higher than 17-19. My Ranger gets about 19-20 with the 2.3L ecoboost and my Flex is around 17-18 with a 4 cylinder. I am not a crazy driver, nor do I drive extremely hard. When I drive to Mammoth Lakes, CA from my home down south, I get 20-22 on the Ranger and 20-23 in my Flex.
there is great MPG (23+)

and there is "2021 acceptable MPG" which would be around 17 to 21 mpg

12-15 is completely unacceptable

if this is real this product will fail spectacularly and jeep will be laughing all the way to the fucking bank with their hemi jeep that likely gets the same or better milage

for ford to fuck up THIS BAD is pretty wild

sorry no. If you are cooning for ford for making a car that gets 12 mpg with a "Eco" engine im staying until this is confirmed and making you all eat it. This is outrageous. So bad it could hurt the stock price.

You can get a fully loaded f150 with a v8 or a powerboost and get way better performance

Im in agreement with this, this is a 2021 ecoboost engine if the MPG isnt floating around 20 I would be shocked. I wanna take this on long halls and not stop every 2 hrs to fill her up.

Great to have this description of what its like to sit in the OBX, since I'm 6'5" and concerned about the interior roominess of the vehicle. I ended up not approving my OBX order on March 19 because this and other information was not available. I've decided to delay my order until i can personally see and sit in a 2021 Bronco.

I also wonder about tire size, as mentioned by the article. Sasquatch it too much for me, but i would like the 33" Badlands tires and Bilstein shock package available on other trims as well, like the OBX. If not, id like to know if its a direct upgrade i could easily do after purchase.

So, waiting is the best option for me, even though I have an early reservation!

Yeah i just looked at the spec sheet its a 200Lb difference between the 2 and the MPG for the highway was 26 and 22 for the city. so no way this thing has a 12 mpg. That would be terrible.

You did read the part in which the 12mpg was if you are around town and flooring it everywhere?
