So many varying opinions on many of the same subjects, but that's to be expected. Overall it looks like the Bronco will do everything I want, and need it to do. And, drive better than my Jeep while doing so. We enjoy taking long roads trips in our vehicles, and do that in our Jeep also. The last trip being 5K+ miles on the highway, and many back roads of varying condition. The Jeep did everything I wanted it to do, but after you get a few thousand miles of highway driving under my belt I am wishing for a little less play in the steering. But, it always end up just fine. I'm looking forward to the better highway driving attributes the IFS will display, plus the better handling it will give over the washboards of the older dirt back roads. I can't wait, but I guess I'll have too.

Agreed, made no sense when they are in a production vehicle and use still shots from the prototype

It would be nice if they did that but I don't think they had a base non squatch as a review vehicle, which is a shame

Even the non Sasquatch is a ton of fun on some rough dirt roads. Vaughn mentioned to me it is “like a rzr” and I agree, but it is a bit stiffer. The rzr suspension is crazy soft, you really wouldn’t want that for a daily. Bronco soaks up the bumps but also feels sporty and controlled. Riding along with those guys this thing can absolutely haul ass in the dirt.

To me, this part is more important as the Land Rover Defender doesn't have removable doors/top nor is the average Bronco potential owner typically cross shopping with a Defender:

To summarize the on-road experience: It's no fancy Italian exotic, but we think a cross-country trip in a 2021 Ford Bronco would be far more tolerable than one in a Jeep Wrangler, though not nearly as enjoyable as the same trip would be in a Land Rover Defender.

If you are super objective with the review and compare it to stuff like the Land Rover and other SUV’s not designed to off road I’m sure it doesn’t compare all that well. But compared to the wrangler (realistically it’s only competition) it is a pretty significant amount better.

Interestingly enough, they liked the standard stereo, while most non-pro reviews haven't been great.

I didn’t pay a whole bunch of attention, the B&O stereo was the only one I listened to and it sounded fine. Nothing mind blowing. I’m a big fan of DIY stereo stuff though, whatever money you put into getting a better factory stereo gets you something WAY better aftermarket.
