Looks awesome.

Did you make it home OK?

Seriously though, I looked at and liked a Defender 90. With those upper roof windows it felt very airy. If this Bronco thing gets strewn out to late 2022 or 2023 on me, I may consider one (a coild sprung one), and then come back around on the Bronco in 2023/4.

Steel wheels are the only proper way to spec a Defender. I hope you enjoy it. I've seen them on the road and they look sharp. Very big boys, no doubt. But sharp. The rubber flooring/seatbacks should be standard on all 4x4s.

Man, a lot of naysayers since it’s one less Bronco order in front of you. Honestly, say what you will, but the Defender and the 4runner are the only other vehicles I considered beyond the Bronco.

Anyway, congrats, she’s a beaut!

And could get an absolutely beautiful Land Rover defender. I love it because it has white steelies, white top, and a flaky green paint that I love. It has everything that I wanted in the bronco, with so much more comfort, space (I am 6’6” 235) and capability. Not to mention, it has rubberized backs of its trunk adjacent seats.
Enjoy, but make sure you keep your savings going for when the Defender is out of warranty, your going to be paying some very frequent and very expensive repair bills.

You steel wheels you can only get with the small engine something about the brakes. That’s a lot of weight for that small engine.
You must have never test drove it.

I bought 2 new Defender 90s in the 1990s. A green 94 softtop and a blue 95 hardtop. Back then Defenders were the bomb and I was in love with them, even with all their quirks.

Unfortunately, I was painfully disappointed when the new Defenders came out. They are just another luxury Land Rover road vehicle barely distinguishable from Range Rovers and Discoveries. They have completely lost their off-road mojo and are over priced.
Again, you must not have driven in one, or seen any offroad footage.

Ever since Tata bought land rover there designs have been all about the mall crawler. The evoque what the hell it that thing then they kept going with the defender. Its a shame, a once great rig.

I was recently in Moab and there was one like that in the campground w/ a RTT and loaded out. I liked the look, especially w/ the steelies. Happy trails and best of luck!

Love it! I've had my 110 for almost a year and its been great. Zero issues btw. It's funny how many haters there are on this thread. The Bronco will look great next to it. We can start out own group of Bronco + Defender lovers.
