We did this last summer on our side-by-sides. Lots of Jeep’s, TRDs and FJs. Watch this video and you will be hooked.

One of the biggest driving factors behind me buying a Bronco is to drive it down from AK and do Black Bear/Imogene/Alpine Loop etc. Absolute bucket list trip and I'm hoping to get it done next summer

Looks like he was hugging the wall a bit too tight. Based on that, he should have never tried going down much less in a 4DR PICKUP!!!

I would agree. Based on the current location, they had would have had to have the left wheels on the wall.

I'm currently loading up and leaving this Sunday for a week in Silverton running those routes. Really looking forward to this trip. We all have Jeeps, but hopefully next year I'll be joining all my Jeep friends in my new Bronco. I've been fortunate to run trails all over CO, Mt Blanca, Holy Cross City, Penrose, trails around Buena Vista, Montrose, Grand Junction, Taylor Pass, Pearl Pass, etc. But, I've never done the routes in the San Juans around Silverton and Ouray, so now finally get to do them. Good times with friends, spectacular scenery, and fun driving.

I am looking forward to when there's enough Broncos out there to have some trips.

Can you drive your Bronco on that? If so, awesome!

Tight shelf road wheeling and the narrow tree branch lined trails of the Deep South are why I have the 2 Dr on order.

Trail turn assist or not, navigating a 4 door longer wheelbase on a trail like Black Bear takes patience and a good spotter, along with a driver willing to listen carefully.

Good luck and fun times to any of you who venture out on any of the iconic Colorado trails and check the ego at the trailhead.

Alpine Loop
We were there the week of July 4th 2019 and rented a side x side. There was still 12' snowbanks in some areas and half of the Alpine Loop trail was closed from avalanches but we still had a good time. This will be one of our stops on the way back home from Granger.

I am a huge fan of Buena Vista. Try to stay there whenever we are in CO.
