Ah yes...carpet...even without dogs it was a chore to keep anything with carpet from eventually getting a somewhat musty smell...so I was stoked that Ford offered the washout interior! Now I can just use a leaf blower and a garden hose.

So thinking about switching to a Badlands. I have a Belgian Malignois that goes everywhere with me. Any feedback in how well the marine grade vinyl seats hold up to his claws? Also ease of cleaning the floor as he sheds a ton.

Super chill on car rides and ready to explore in our Bronco, only a couple more weeks!
In my current vehicle, I keep the back seats folded and use a hammock that covers the carpet on the back of the rear seats. Then have the rear cargo mat lay on top of the end of the hammock. Keeps everything pretty clean and he likes to put his chin on the shoulder of my driver seat.

In the same boat here. I'd recommend looking into the backseat hammock (works pretty well) or a kennel setup in the cargo which works best. Keeps the car super clean and pup safe.

Thanks I was thinking cargo area would be best too with a seven and five year old in the back

Literally just posted on another thread that we need a dogs group. Broncos really are amazing for ease of cleaning up after all the animals in our lives: fur from the furry ones, and cheez its from the human ones. Minivans should come standard with wash out floors.

I’m hoping our big guy, Gus, will love the Bronco without ripping my MGV seats. His drool does more damage than his claws usually so fingers crossed.
