Gull Lake is a fun place. Haven’t been up there in years. Used to always do business team retreats at Madden’s. I just pulled our boat for storage as well.

We had friends with a home up there when I was a kid and started going to Gull Lake each summer(even when we lived in CA) for vacation back when we got married 27 years ago. We stumbled on a lot we loved in 2015 and built our retirement home shortly after. We are just 1/2 mile north of Madden’s on the same road/shoreline. Next year we will be empty nesters so our lake place will be home for 5+ months each summer. It’s our happy place.



Here are the colors on the shoreline near our home peaked out from last October, they will look the same by next weekend.

My son and I pulled both boats out over the weekend and put them in winter storage. The colors are not quite peaked out yet here in East Gull Lake MN. Smoke on the water for the sunrise yesterday. No pics of the Bronco from the weekend because I didn’t have it with us as it doesn’t have enough towing capacity for the boats.

This makes me miss my home state of Wisconsin. Great pics

Took my buddy out for his first off-road adventure. Kept it really easy, but also to see some nice colors. His little Trailhawk did just fine on this dirt road

Near Mt Rainier, WA. Trail got a bit tight at times, but the scratch marks didn't actually scratch! Doing 60 on dirt roads was gnarly and my way of breaking her in! Awesome day and lots of compliments on the way up the mountain. Evan's Creek ORV park is next.
