Why not stack washers under the lower a-arm bolts? I would say buy a $50 leveling kit but that cost money.

I actually have one of those kits that I was going to put on before I bought the Icons. In the end I wasn't a fan of the extra droop, my tie rods and CVs are already making me nervous at full droop with just the Icons.

I’ve been hammering this, but I need an excuse to upgrade and go to 5.13s.

That's not far from were I'm at now. I'm just a sucker for minimum lift. 5.13s sound awfully nice though. Even just switching from the Goodyears to the Mickeys feels like driving in sand, the SX2s are going to be brutal. Kiss 6th goodbye.

Oh yeah, the only time I've ever really used 6th was in MT doing 85+. I rarely get out of 4th around home.

I keep thinking about how nice the Goodyears would feel on my Motegis, dropping 10lbs of wheel, but then they go and huck some gravel at my paint and I hate them again.

What are you comparing them with?
Using the ol' back scale. An unmounted SX2 felt just as, if not more, heavy as a mounted Goodyear. I think those wheels are 35lb? Plus the beadlock ring/bolts, maybe an even 40.

They look pretty horrible now, but a few minutes on the lathe ought to clean them up. Four 1/4" and two 3/8", some combo of that should work.

Lift with your knees, when you get older you will understand.

Did you get SXII tires all mounted?

Just the one so far. I almost loaded up the rest to drop off at the tire shop today to be dismounted then realized what day it was. So tomorrow looks good.

The 1/2" worth of coil perch spacers worked perfectly. They are the lighter black ring in the pic.

Sitting at 24.5ish hub to fender in front and 25.5ish in back, or about 39.5/40.5 fender to ground. I figure that's 2-2.5 over where I was. The angles are all much happier.

Still looks good with 35s but will clear the baby 37s without worry now.

Taking the Territories in tomorrow to get dismounted.

So how much clearance did you gain on the gas tank? I find that's the best part of my lift. I'm dragging that tank over far less stuff now.
