Update. I got a call this afternoon! The bronco is in the yard! I'm like what.....? What?!?! wild?!?!? In fact I'm on cloud 9. But then 2 things..... after sitting in a field for over a year I find out someone has enjoyed the truck for over 100 miles.... ok... fine.... it is what it is...

I ask for pictures and the wind is knocked out of my sails.... I know it's not a big deal to most people but man I really didn't want holes in my truck there.... I'm no fan of Karen's or there male counterparts. So I don't wanna freak out but I mean come on....They said it was because they didn't expect a 2023 to be an actual order this late in the year. And the tech just installed it before anyone could say anything........

What would be a reasonable request? Just grin an bare it? Bumper plugs? Paint matched bumper plugs? New front facia? Get a good night's sleep and get over it? I'm just bummed after over 4 years waiting....None of my trucks or cars have a front plate and I personally think we're they have it on the Broncos ruins the flow of the truck.

Thoughts?

I’m really surprised Granger did that. It was basically understood they wouldn’t. But, it’s not the worst location given the Capable bumper and color matched plugs are readily available.

The 100 miles also isn’t the end of the world. We’ve heard of many more especially on the ones in a “ quality hold”.

Personally, I would want it actually fixed or replaced.
Mine that went into production in July and delivered in November had 48 miles on it.

Mine had around 90 miles on it when it finally got delivered after sitting from July to November last year.

First things first, big congrats on finally getting it!!

I second that I'm really surprised they did that, the current tech must not have been part of the original Bronco rush but Granger does allot of out state business so they should know people explicitly call that out. Sorry that happened but I'd straight out ask them how they plan to fix it or compensate you before you go pick it up.

“They do move in herds!”

After almost a year of waiting I finally got my 4 door 7MT about a week ago…got a huge smile on my face this morning when I ran into a close relative. If you’re in Allentown, PA you’ve got company!

I still can’t comprehend how you could have the same original scheduled build week as mine and William’s. Blended the same week in July as William and I, yet yours is just being delivered now. It boggles my mind and I’ve been on the shit show train ride for 4 years so I should have seen it all by now.

I will say, I love the hell out of mine even with it’s few quirks. I hope you enjoy yours as well.

Nope. I am asking if they will give me the VIN but it’s a little late. My salesman left so may part of the issue.
Bob
Got the VIN and can get on the ford site. Done waiting to be shipped.
Order number is 1234 which threw me at first.

@colbert and @Landofcheese are both 2 doors but doesn't make sense, everything on a '24 2 door that makes it an HE is the same as it was on the '23s and they've been pumping those out.

I'm sure there's enough unknown facts from the HEs that we could get one of these streaming services to do an investigative docu-series on it!
