I’ve been waiting for a breakdown on the top itself. Surprised no one has tackled that yet. I’d still like to get a black one and matte wrap it one day…
God this is hideous
It’s constructed some what differently. Smooth over coat and painted plus clear coat. Quite a bit heavier it seems so maybe more than just a smooth overcoat and paint?

It is not MIC, the finish is smooth and glossy. The material still feels the same.

Your MIC? Yeah, that’s a waste of time and money IMO. The painted top will be a different story.

I like the rims. Saw a red heritage, the black and white wheels are much nicer looking. I think Ford should paint the grill outer perimeter body color like the many on here have.

How long does that wrap last before it starts peeling back at the edges? I was always curious about that.

On a painted surface - I’m not sure. I guess I was actually leaning towards matte PPF. XPEL or System X. That should last.
So on the sticker is the top listed as a “ Modular” top. Also is there a “ gunner” removable panel " as was originally put forth three years ago? Thanks.
The Mod top should have been standard, the removable windows sounds excellent and it sure seems like that was the original plan. Why do OEMs divide their resources like that instead of just making one good part and being done with it? Penny wise, dollar foolish
