I'm too cheap to shell out the $ for a P&P harness and made my own. The pigtails and fuse wire come with the amp; all I needed to buy was a T harness to tap into the Bronco's wiring. Been doing this stuff for years, so I had shrink wrap, terminals, harness tape and wire to extend the power/signal leads. It took me about an hour to do the soldering and wrap the harness.
Material:
Pac LPHFD31 T Harness ($40 Amazon)
(8) 15" pieces of #16 wire (To extend input leads to amp)
(1) 42" piece #14 wire (To extend fuse link from battery)
(2) 1/4" ring terminals (Blue; to connect power and ground wires)
(1) Male/Female Spade terminal set (Blue, to connect power lead and extension to battery)
3mm Shrink Wrap (Audio leads)
4mm Shrink Wrap (Power lead)
Harness Tape
The T Harness pigtails are labeled so you can't screw up. I used multiple color extension wire, but a single color is fine if you label it with a tag to keep track of the wiring. I soldered all of the splices and the ring terminal at the battery end of the power lead. I crimped the ring terminal for the ground lead and the male/female spade terminal set to extend the amp's power lead to the battery. The amp ground lead is attached to the chassis with the right bolt that attaches the metal plate below the steering wheel (Amp is mounted to the plate).
The amp was a Best Buy open box so the whole install was a shag over two hundred bucks. Really kicked the base radio/speaker set up a notch or ten. Turning off the factory equalization and re-configuring the pods to Speaker in ForScan, I am over the moon with the system.
