I used Gulf gas for years in my Mazda, 215,000 miles on it. I don’t believe it is a “Top Tier” gas.

93 is not available in Utah. I fill with 91 exclusively and Top Tier, which is not hard to find. Result is +20 MPG consistently with my ‘25 BadSas 2DR, so I’m pretty happy with that, but my real agenda is extending the life of the 2.3L and the dual injection turbo.

I don't disagree with the conclusions. Use Top Tier gas. I mainly stick with Chevron. But that first video just sounded like a looong and repetitive, AI-scripted and AI read video for ad revenue.

There really should not be any debate on whether or not you use Top tier fuels. Top tier is a measurable standard which must be met, and routinely tested for a gasoline company to claim they are top tier and post that claim on their pumps. Thats probably while all the top tier providers are the larger gas companies.
That’s a top tier response!

So you added a turbo to your 2.3?

Mapco is on the corner, I use the mapco unless I'm going further than that corner.

Used to love Chevron 94 had a distinct aroma to it. When got S550 HPP Mustang started using it again. Smelled different. Economy tanked. Switched to Shell 93 economy and performance improved....still use it in fact $154 tank tonight.

Chevron or Shell always. Depending on which has the highest redeemable cents, when using their app for any particular day, is the one I chose.

Sorry, meant dual injection!
Well the 2.3 does have a twin scroll turbo... so kind of like having 2.... Did they change the 2.3 to the combo of direct and port? I knew they had changed the 2.7 I did not know they had changed the 2.3... Sorry for the questions... I am learning. I do not know as much about the 2.3 as I would like...

I use Top Tier more often then not as that is what Costco has near me. It's the cheapest gas around plus 5% back so can't be beat.

We we are quite a few comments in and while obviously a popular subject... I dont see any contention yet.
Does that mean we have accomplished @Blackcat 's goal?

The definitive answer:
Yes - Get Top Tier gas - If only because it is checked and has quality standards, everything else is just a bonus.
