My Cat loves to unroll toilet paper .So theres only one way to do it..
Depends on the cat. I grew up in an over-the-roll household. No problems with any of my parents' cats in my lifetime, except maybe the first one when I was a kid.

I only had one cat, well behaved, after moving out on my own. After she died we found out how much rodent control she'd been doing behind the scenes.

You just gave me flashbacks to the Japanese Toilet episode of South Park. I might have to watch it again now.
I haven't watched ANY South Park in so long.. I might have to join you lol.

I'm not as worried about which way the brush faces, so long as it's on the hooks - I will ONLY use it on my tires and maybe my rims (albeit gently) to get brake dust off, because god knows what kind of dirt and rocks could be hiding in there.

TP goes OVER the top. Look up the patent on it, it was ALWAYS intended to go over the top.

That said, an argument can be made for the Cat problem, as well as the potential of a spider hiding out in there...but those are paper-thin arguments.
I've seen the patent. You are correct.

You're braver than I. Friend's lights were torn off. But they became entangled in the strips and they proceeded to bludgeon the rest of the vehicle. It was thousands in damage.
I don't have any lights or accessories that stick out 😁 My Bronco is extremely boring lol

In general you don't use any sort of brush on paint, period. It's why most modern wash mitts are microfiber. Today's water based paints are soft and delicate and I have a hard time believing your clear coat doesn't have micro scratches and swirls from using car wash brushes on paint.
I just washed my Mazda today at the self serve place using the brush (as well as the high pressure water). I actually felt up the brush before I started and the fibers are very soft. Actually surprisingly so. I also rinsed it first w the high pressure water before using it.
My Mazda is now 13 years old and it's in such good shape people think it's a new car. (30k miles, used for fun not commuting).

I would hand wash my vehicles if I didn't live in an apartment complex, but I do so I don't.
And the cheapest hand wash place in my area is now $60 for the basic wash. With a lot of Yelp reviews complaining about the place!
