Taking it to the body shop tomorrow. I don't know what they may look at mechanically, but I'm doubtful it's much. It's drivable without anything noticeably wrong. I want to say there is a very slight vibration from the rear at highway speeds, but it's subtle enough that I could be convinced I'm making that up. I'll mention it but I'm unable to be more specific than that.
Traffic was heavy but moving at around 65mph, Traffic ahead slowed and was backed up, I slowed to almost a stop to match the traffic, and the car behind me did not. Chain reaction from there, 3 vehicles needed to be towed. My Bronco at the front doesn't seem too bad. I'll need a new bumper, new tailgate, I'll have them replace the spare tire as well. The interior plastic floor panels inside are lifted, The frame where the hitch is mounted looks to be a little bent as well. I'm just wondering if an impact like that could affect the brakes, transmission, or anything else that may not be obvious.
Does anyone have any knowledge or insight? Overall, I'm glad I was in my Bronco for this. a sma
