I was rear-ended on my way home. Traffic was bumper to bumper. Out of no where this black Chevy hits my right rear bumper. Bumper was sort of smashed in but his headlight took most of the damage. Weā€™re both okay and Iā€™m glad itā€™s minor itā€™s just so frustrating, Iā€™ve only had my bronco for a month.. Hope the lead time on a bumper doesnā€™t take as long as it took to get my bronco..

That's actually an insane amount of damage on his car for hitting the bumper. Sheesh!

Also, looks like no paint damage? Potentially just a bumper swap?

I agree! The steel bumper put in work. Because it looks minimal but I definitely felt the shove.

Paint is slightly scratched off, if you zoom in you can see a black line and a black dot, thatā€™s about it. A bumper swap would be ideal, but that little paint that rubbed off would bother me. Weā€™ll see what the adjusters & bodyshops say.

They will replace or paint anything to bring the Bronco back to like new. If it were me I'd ask for the cash to replace the bumper and get a steel bumper. But let them touch up the paint.

Go for an aftermarket bumper. It will likely cost less than a factory replacement.
