Alight - so I did a 2" level lift, got it realigned and put the Micky Thompsons on. have about 7k miles and I'm seeing heavy treadwear on the outside of both front tires. I'm guessing they screwed up the alignment.

Pucks may be forcing the A arms down to achieve lift.

I have a 2” puck level lift on mine. I have 25k miles on my Mickey Thompson tires and they are wearing perfectly. I am guessing they messed up your alignment.

Alignment was hosed. Looks like the shop didn't do anything. Nearly toasted the front MT's - glad I didn't rotate them, only lost two.

I am interested in putting pizza cutters on my stock sasquatch bronco. I like the look of the 255/85R17 Mickey Thompsons, but after doing some research, I am starting to doubt they will fit the stock sasquatch wheels. Does anyone know if there would be any issues?

What makes you think they won't fit the OEM Sasquatch wheels?

I thought SAS rims are 8.5"? I'm contemplating some form of Pizza Cutters myself and wondering what narrow width high profile tires work well on 8.5-9" rims. Googled this issue and looked like some narrow tires with high profile run risk of breaking bead lock on truck/SUV, but maybe that is serious off roading risk....

Under reasonable conditions you shouldn't have to worry about that unless you're going to single digit pressures. If you keep 12 or above you should be fine. Unless you end up in a bad situation with a lot of pressure on the bead specifically.

Other than that the tread just may be a little narrow looking for the width of the wheel. Especially with the Sasquatch Wheels having the trim ring making it wider than it really is.

While I agree with you 100% , I've also learned to just let it go ... let them run with it.
In the mean time , I'll continue to wish for the return of the 33 x 9.5 BFG AT they had out for awhile. LOL

---------------------------------------

In other news, I'd like to see the "pizza cutters" on the 16" Base wheel.
I think the 255/85-16 is probably the reigning king .... unless you go with the old military tire ... 255/100-16
LOL!

The Sas wheels are 8.5 which has me concerned. It doesn't really seem like anyone has mounted these tires on the stock sas wheels.

Found this on an FJ Cruiser Forum. Maybe it'll be fine?

I'm sure they'll work, if a shop will mount them. They might look funny. I had two vehicles with 235 tires on 8" rim and they looked a little odd.

The taller the tire, the more leeway you have in rim width because of lots of sidewall.

I know a lot of people put Kenda 35x10.5R17 on the Sasquatch broncos. I never used their tires before so I am hesitant to. But I'm sure theyre fine.

I did find that Toyo makes the AT3 in the same size, 35x10.5. None of the places local to me carry them but I'm gonna try ordering a set.
