If anyone knows of some trails to hit in North Carolina please let me know! Hoping to find some scenic ones near Asheville next weekend!
Brown Mtn has a trail, but don’t go alone if you are new to running trails, always best to go with a group. Old Hwy 105 is another scenic drive, a little further for you is Uwharrie National Forest which has several trails to ride and there are always groups there on the weekend. We just had a group meet up last weekend and run the trails in Uwharrie, keep an eye out on the Southeast group page for another planned group trip next month!

I have had mine for 3 weeks and I have not gotten the first wave from other Bronco owners. We have an older model jeep we use for our beach buggy and get the wave every time we were out in it. I was thinking Bronco owners must be snobs and was hoping to get the wave when passing them.

Not snobs, just not our thing.

Personally, the Jeep wave drives me nuts (when I'm forced to drive the wife's Jeep). Any other vehicle out there, you get a wave if it's a nice vehicle (looks good, you did something to it, etc.) with Jeeps, it's see another Jeep gotta wave 🤦‍♂️

So yeah, you probably won't get a wave in the Bronco just because we don't do it.

Yea, for some reason many 6G people don't wave and are actually quite militant about it. I started waving at Broncos in '84 when I got my first EB, then through the 90's with my second. I had a 2nd Gen in the late 80's and don't remember waving as much with that one.

I always give a wave.

Yeah - Bronco owners for whatever reason do not wave. Now that there are so many of us Bronco owners if I did wave at every Bronco that I see I'd have to trade in my manual for an automatic so that I'd have a free hand to use just for waving.

PS Of course that would NEVER happen - since I love my manual

well I’ll be fine with that. I am loving driving it so far. Taking the entire top off this week for a stay at the beach. I know we are definitely going to enjoy that

Congrats! Excellent choice. We purchased our glades in '24 and have enjoyed every day. It is a beast and capable of more than I originally thought. Enjoy!

The Everglades come with a factory winch and snorkel, and flat fenders.
Correct but from the pictures his did not hence why I asked. It appears the previous owner took it off but he was able to replace it with one from his truck.

Man you are right that's what I get for looking at this on my phone didn't notice the winch missing but did notice they removed part of the Glades badge but left just a little piece. You would be surprised how many people don't even know the Everglades existed. Before 2025 all I had to say is I had a Desert Sand Bronco and you would instantly know a ton. Early Reservation Holder, MY 22 Everglades, Sasquatched, late production run, Snorkel, Winch, hard top, MGV, Rubber floors, Flat fenders, 12" screen with the Mid package, And Special wheels, and less than 1000 made. now it is not so special.

When I was just out of high school, I spent a couple years in Seattle with my (many) female cousins. One time we took my aunt's Honda Accord to Seattle so we could do some fun stuff and we were on the highway after dark. These two younger guys pull up and are waving at us. Oh hey! They all start giggling. Ok, we gotta go. We get up to about 90-95 trying to out run them before we finally figure out our headlights were off, that's why they were waving. 👀

This is the fate of surly Bronco drivers who hate being waved at. Godspeed! ✊
